Jennifer's Garden
This project came with a challenge: the homeowners’ lawn had a steep, dramatic pitch, so we had to get creative.
Their original garden was a wide, open space with no vertical structure for vining plants, no defined paths, and constant rabbit pressure. We transformed it by designing four L-shaped raised beds, each terraced to follow the natural grade of the land. We then wove the existing hardscape seamlessly through the new layout, making the garden feel intentional and connected to the pre-existing path.
The result is one of our most unique and sculptural garden designs—a functional, layered space that turns a difficult slope into a standout feature.
