Stephanie & Jim's Garden
Gardens and firepits are the perfect combination.
The homeowners wanted to transform an unused corner of their lawn into a cozy space for both work and relaxation—and this inviting garden does exactly that. At its center, a Corten steel firepit sits on a bluestone patio framed by decomposed granite, creating a warm and grounded focal point. We blended elements of steel and wood throughout the space, with Edison bulbs strung overhead to tie everything together and add evening ambiance. The trellis and tomato cages serve double duty, supporting abundant vertical growth while also providing a layer of privacy as you unwind by the fire.
A simple corner transformed into a beautifully functional retreat.
